It is the responsibility of LTADD to perform the functions of a regional clearinghouse pursuant to the Presidential Executive Order 12372 including: Coordination of federally assisted projects and programs with local and area plans Soliciting input from area wide and local agencies which are authorized to develop and enforce environmental standards Providing agencies charged with enforcing or furthering civil rights laws with the opportunity to participate in the review process Encourage an expeditious process of intergovernmental coordination and review of proposed projects Also, through this process, chief elected officials and their constituents are provided an opportunity to review all projects that have an impact on their areas.     Copyright © 1996-2009 by the Lincoln Trail Area Development District - Elizabethtown, Kentucky -
